Meter Reading

Burt County Public Power is pleased to announce that we have changed out our meters to a new AMI system. These new Radio Frequency (RF) electronic meters can provide the office staff with two-way communications. These meters not only report back KWH usage, but they can also supply us with the voltage and amps being used, along with many other options. Our Metering System records readings every night at midnight. On the 1st of the month, those readings get imported into our billing system, that will generate your monthly statement.
